Artificial Intelligence and Mobility Laboratory [인공지능 및 모빌리티 연구실] (AIM Lab, directed by Prof. Joongheon Kim [김중헌]) is currently a part of Korea University (School of Electrical Engineering), Seoul, Republic of Korea. AIM Lab conducts cutting-edge technology research and development in the areas of artificial intelligence applications, mobility services and platforms, 5G/B5G wireless networking and platforms, multi-core platforms for deep learning computation acceleration, biomedical and health informatics, and so forth. AIM Lab research activities are funded by National Research Foundation of Korea, Ministry of Health and Welfare, Institute for Information and Communications Technology Promotion (IITP), Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), Hyundai/Kia Motors, and Samsung Electronics.


AIM Lab proudly inherits research assets from Wireless Devices and Systems Group (directed by Prof. Andreas F. Molisch, Communication Sciences Institute, Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Viterbi School of Engineering, University of Southern California), Network and Security Research Laboratory (directed by Prof. Wonjun Lee, School of Cybersecurity, Korea University), and Parallel Computing and Architecture Laboratory (directed by Emeritus Prof. Dong-Seung Kim, School of Electrical Engineering, Korea University).
